Blood Work Results

The doctor who will be performing the procedure called just a little while ago with the results of my blood work, and I admit that my heart leaped into my throat. It turned out however that he had good news; my blood test results were completely normal, with no elevations or anything else that looked odd. In other words, NO sign of cancer.

He sounded sincerely pleased for me as he said that we have the best case scenario and he's certain that everything will go smoothly on the day of the procedure.

So now my husband and I can each give a sigh of relief and just hang in there until the day the cyst is removed. Until then I have to refrain from using my desk cycle to exercise since the cyst is big enough to twist surrounding organs, but it's just for a little over a month.

Now with this weight off my shoulders, I'm starting to feel like writing for Aeronwen and Neldor again. :)

You're welcome. That's one big unknown out of the way, and the rest has better reassurances. I would be really relieved, too.

Have fun with Aeronwen and Neldor!

Oh, that's wonderful news!! It sounds like you're in very good hands, too. Just make sure your hisband pampers you adequately for the next month - it's vital pre-operation procedure! :P
