And the worry continues

My mother is still in the hospital, and it doesn't look like she will be released anytime soon. I just heard from my aunt; late last night some nurses came into my mother's room wearing masks and protective gowns and told her that she was being moved to another room. The reason; the woman who was in the next bed tested positive for covid. So now my mother needs to be watched and tested to see if she was infected.

She's already very sick and is eighty three years old. If she was infected with covid...well, that's not good to say the least.

It just never stops, does it?

I really wish that we could hold accountable those responsible for covid.

I'm keeping her in my thoughts.

No it doesn't stop, and there's no end in sight.

My husband has started to believe that at this point covid is never going away and it's now going to be something that we will always have to live with. He also thinks that sooner or later there is going to be a very bad, deadly strain that will be worse than any other variant we've seen so far.
