This morning I stopped by my regular doctor's office and was tested for covid. The nurse said they should have the results by tomorrow. If they are negative, the surgery will take place on Monday as scheduled. If positive, it will have to be put off for at least three weeks.
I would be very surprised if they come back positive (of course anything is possible), and hopefully they won't. The idea of having to wait almost another month for the surgery makes me feel tired to say the least.
Edit: 4/2/22 Apparently the covid test came back negative. The Women's Health Center called yesterday and told me to be there at 10:30 on Monday morning. So the procedure is going forward as scheduled.
Now to just keep calm until then.
