Game progress so far
As mentioned in an entry or two ago, in the Oblivion game I just started I had the family's official starting point far up in the Valus Mountains next to Kemen. With the time scale set back to five game hours for one real hour, the family made the treacherous ride down the mountain and eventually game to Cheydinhal. They boarded their hoofed animals at the stable for the night before setting up camp a legal distance from the town walls. By that point it was after 6PM so they settled in for a well deserved rest.
The other thing I might have mentioned is that their new home has already been set up and they know exactly where they're going. I'm roleplaying that Highwood Farm, the store added by the Trade and Commerce mod (that I HEAVILY customized) and Emma's Lakeside Home are all a part of the package and they are carrying the deeds for the properties with them.
So, they woke up on Day Two and kept following the road west. Incredibly they didn't meet with a single bandit or hostile creature during the journey. I doubt I'll be that lucky again if I decide to replay this and write it out. They found Roxy Inn where they stopped to rest for a while and learned that they can buy livestock for their farm there. After letting the animals rest for an hour they continued onward.
They kept going and eventually went passed the eerie village of Aleswell (I uninstalled Emma's house for that location since I decided I wouldn't be using it), and kept going until they stopped near the lakeside a bit north of Weye to once again too eat and to give the animals a rest. After a while they kept going (still not seeing a single bandit).
At last they reached Chorrol. While Aeronwen was meeting with the real estate agent to get the property keys, Neldor arranged for a courier to send a message to his Auntie Laiwyn to let her know that they are now in Cyrodiil (for this game I have her using Emma's Fisherman's Cottage as a home since it's very close to Highwood and not far from the Valenwood border). Laiwyn will be riding over to meet them when she gets Neldor's letter.
So at this point the family is spending a few days at the Lakeside House where Aeronwen and Neldor will be working to get the Highwood store in Chorrol up and running. Aeronwen will be using the house's alchemy tools to create a selection of lovely floral scented perfumes and other potions (plus they might be able to find some interesting items in nearby caves and ruins).
The Breton woman who worked for Highwood's previous owners was quite happy to have her job back and will assist with the actual running of the shop. The locals can't miss the place. It's the building that has lavender roses growing all over it and has a giant gold elk statue near the entrance.

Once there is enough inventory they'll continue their journey to Anvil and at last reach Highwood Farm where store inventory such as wines, brandy, candy bars and other items can be easily created and then shipped to Chorrol. For the moment however they and their animals are going to take a long well deserved rest at the Lakeside house. It's late in the day. Time to let the animals graze while the family sits on the porch and watches the sunset.
So, that's the game I haven't written about but...kind of feel like I should have.
